Two popular health trends that are buzzing right now include acai bowls and celery juice. Acai bowls are great because they are healthy, filling, and so yummy! Working out and staying active during springtime is the perfect way to prepare your mind and body for the summer!  Exercising is important to help you feel energized and motivated, which can help you to achieve your goals each day. This year, a popular way to stay active is taking workout classes. Whether it’s spinning, pilates, yoga, etc; classes make exercising more enjoyable compared to going to the gym on your own. A fun and trendy workout that never disappoints is Soulcycle. Although classes can be pricey, Soulcycle pumps you up and will always leave you feeling amazing! The music, lights, and inspiring words said throughout the workout will leave you feeling motivated and excited for your next class! If you are not into spinning, there are many other types of classes that you can try. Another awesome studio is Pace Fitness located in West Chester, PA. This studio uses easy-to-follow dance moves and plyometrics (aka jump training) to create a HIIT cardio workout. The studio uses professional lighting and sound to make you feel like you are at a nightclub. It’s basically a workout party, how can you say no to that?!

Plan It Out

Get organized and start planning! When you use an agenda book or a planner, it becomes much easier to stay organized and achieve your daily or monthly goals. Using a planner will help you keep track of all responsibilities and plans throughout the spring. This will also help to increase your productivity because when you write down your plans, it makes you more motivated to get it done.

Self Lovin’

Sometimes life can get so frantic and overwhelming that you forget to take a moment to relax and take a break! This spring, try to take one night to yourself to relax and do some self-care. On Sundays, I like to get all of my work and planning done for the upcoming week during the day, then at night, I take at least an hour to myself. During this time, I like to put on a face mask, take a warm bath, watch an episode of The Bachelor, and relax! Of course, sometimes we don’t have enough free time to do all of these things. Taking some time to meditate, watch an episode of your favorite TV show, or cook your favorite meal can really help to destress and relax. It is important to detach from reality once in a while to take some time to yourself. An awesome app to download for some easy, quick meditation is Calm. This app is free and offers mindfulness-based guided meditations. They are easy and quick and leave you feeling relaxed which can lead to a more energized and motivated feeling this spring!
