Pique Their Brain With Kimberly Fleming from KEVA Style

Kimberly + Eva + Made in VA = KEVA!

It was only a matter of time before owners, and formerly stay at home moms, Kimberly and Eva met while dropping their children off at the bus stop for school. The two quickly found that they had a lot in common (especially when it comes to fashion), and decided that they were ready to put their strengths and creativity back to work outside of the home. With Kimberly’s creative and logistical experience in retail and Eva’s strength in corporate management, they were able to start their business KEVA and are spreading joy and confidence one jewelry piece at a time.

What inspired you to start your business?

My business partner, Eva and I met at our children’s bus stop. Parents can easily relate as so much time is spent at the bus stop and who knew a divine conversation would be the start of our business. Our goal is simple: to inspire beauty and confidence while encouraging others to turn their dreams into reality. One jewelry piece at a time.

What advice would you give to an aspiring entrepreneur or student?

Trust your gut and surround yourself with great people.

How has social media influenced or helped your business?

It’s been such a gift having a platform to share our story and products with the world. And, we’ve connected with so many amazing people and brands that has grown our company’s network. Like they say… your network is your net worth.

What’s one thing you can’t live without for your business (can be an app or tool or a person, or a go-to starbucks, order, etc.)
Coconut LeCroix – it’s the afternoon treat and a must have at our team meetings!

Who do you admire and why?

Our leadership team. We continue to inspire, encourage, push and learn from each other. Plus, have a lot of fun along the way!

What’s next for your business?

In 2020, we’ve partnered with Fieldstone – a national sales team, one of the best in the home and gift industry – who will be selling our products to retailers across the country. We also want to develop a Brand Ambassador program – a grassroots approach to growing our brand. Exciting things ahead!
